Custom Lane is delighted to welcome Kathryn Davey and her rich knowledge of sustainable, natural dyes and techniques.
Kathryn will guide workshop attendees through the setting up of an indigo vat and the exploration of various different shibori techniques of binding, clamping and tying to create beautiful textile patterns. After some fun exploration & experimentation you will incorporate what you have learnt into a final piece for you to take home.
ALL MATERIALS WILL BE PROVIDED and you will leave with all samples made in class and a few extra special surprises! You are also welcome to bring 1-3 small pieces of your own to dye.
