Custom Lane is located on Commercial Street and is accessible via Customs Wharf which runs along the water. The Shore is a buzzing creative port district in north Edinburgh, home to a diverse range of creative organisations, architects, production agencies and artists’ studios. Luckily for us, there are rows of bars and restaurants on our door step.
Custom Lane gallery and café are open 7 days a week and are free to access. Please check our what’s on page before you plan to attend. Some events require you to book via Eventbrite.

BY BUS / TRAM
Routes 16, 22, 35, 36, N16 and N22 stop on Commercial Street from various City Centre locations. The nearest tram stop is The Shore, less than a 5 minute walk away. Check local operator Lothian Buses for more info and timetables.
BY BICYCLE / WALKING
Leith is walkable from the city centre and the Water of Leith Walkway (also open to bicycles) begins a mere 200m away.
BY TAXI
A drop off / pick point is situated on Commercial Street Bridge, just outside our main entrance.
PARKING
Free, on-street parking can be found around Custom Lane.
