Williams and Johnson are a true ‘grass roots’ coffee roasting duo. Having both worked with coffee for over eight years, in late 2015, the pair made the decision to set out on their own to source and roast their favourite single origin coffees.
In 2016, they joined forces with Custom Lane to open their flagship café in the heart of Leith.
The team pride themselves on their seasonally curated coffees, with the selection changing throughout the year as they continue to source new fresh crop beans.
All Williams and Johnson coffees are single origin, to celebrate their individual characters. The team roast in small batches on-site, with each coffee roasted very specifically to its own roast profile, carefully designed to evoke the bean’s natural character and best flavour.
The café is open 7 days a week.
