Excursion is a group exhibition featuring seven designer/makers who form the Scottish cohort of the Craft Council Hothouse programme

Custom Lane’s debut festival exhibition features 7 designer/makers selected as Scotland’s emerging talent

Excursion features work by emerging contemporary practitioners across the mediums of jewellery, sculptural objects, ceramics, glass and textiles.

The seven designers are based in Scotland, of which three are based within Custom Lane Studios, and form part of the Crafts Council Hothouse 2017 talent programme. Each designer was put forward by Craft Scotland and creates innovative work varying in scale and concept, combining craft knowledge with experimental processes.
