Hayley McCrirrick is a Scottish artist working with textiles.
Using traditional craft technique to inform and inspire her work on cloth and paper, Hayley seeks to create work which feels grounded to landscape and irrelevant to time.
From the artist:
‘Liminal Spaces’
explores the theme of transformation; through loss, memory, and renewal.The artworks are visually entwinned with my exploration of Japanese textiles during my 2024 residency in Fujiyoshida. Underpinning this exploration is the intricate relationship we have with the natural world, inspiring resilience and regrowth.
The exhibition highlights the cyclical process of letting go and embracing memory as we weave new identities.
