To celebrate the launch of Season 2, TATL are delighted to welcome Amin Taha to discuss the use of stone as a modern building material.

Amin Taha was educated in architecture at the University of Edinburgh. After working for a number of architectural practices in the UK he founded Amin Taha Architects in 2003, later incorporating his practice into an Employee Ownership Trust and renaming it GROUPWORK. Amin now sits as chairman of GROUPWORK. As well as running the design and detailing of projects, Amin has taught, written and lectured on architecture, sat on the RIBA National and International Awards Jury and has input into related research groups.

The TATL team look forward to welcoming you.

TALKS AT THE LANE is an eclectic and informative series of lectures and conversations around the themes of design and making, curated and supported by Custom Lane residents.

TATL aim to provide engaging and lively discussions that explore what motivates our speakers to create, and the influences behind their practice.

Season 2 will focus on material by engaging with designers and makers whose practice is concerned with the use of sustainable materials, their practical application and cultural meaning.
