A brief stroll along the Water of Leith from Custom Lane will bring you to our newest building, St Ninian’s Manse, and to the Leith home of celebrated Edinburgh manicure studio, buff.
Effecting their well-honed design standards, buff. have, with the support of fellow residents and long-time collaborators GRAS, actualised an embracing serenity and gentle refinement within the first floor studio they now occupy.
The warmth and soothing preciseness of the space is reflected in the team’s unrivalled hospitality, service and thoughtfully selected product offering for face, body and hands.
Whether visiting solo or as a group (both locations are available for exclusive hire), buff. promises to elevate wellbeing with its impeccable aesthetics, innovative indulgences and matchless pampering.
With origins dating back to 1493, St Ninian’s Manse is thought to be the oldest building in Leith, topped by Edinburgh’s sole surviving 17th-century timber steeple.
With the building remaining largely in private studio use, we are delighted the public are able to access this glorious property, by appointment, through buff.
To quote British Vogue’s 2024 glam guide, “whether visiting solo or as a group (both locations are available for exclusive hire), buff. promises to elevate wellbeing with its impeccable aesthetics, innovative indulgences and matchless pampering.”
Schedule a manicure of your choice from buff.’s extensive list of treatments or exclusive hire of the studio and team HERE. Gift cards can be purchased HERE.
Whether you’re after next-level nail art or barely-there polish, we will make you feel soothed and unstoppable.
