Getting here during the Princes Street closure

Trams are not currently running between the city centre and Leith following the Princes Street fire. The closure is expected to last into August.

Buses are running as normal to Leith. The 16, 35 and 36 stop at The Shore, two minutes from Custom Lane, about 25 minutes from George Street or Queen Street.

On foot, Leith Walk runs from the city centre to The Shore in around 40 minutes. The Water of Leith path from Stockbridge takes about an hour.

By Voi e-bike, hired through the Voi app, the ride from town takes around 15 minutes.
