We are delighted to host Nick Ross's exhibition, WORKS, delivered in partnership with TATL to accompany the seventh talk of Season 2

Raised in Inverness and beginning his design studies in Aberdeen, Nick Ross is a Scottish-Swedish designer based in Stockholm, Sweden. His work takes reference from the intricate tapestry of history, especially ancient history, investigating facts and events that have shaped specific cultural balances.

He has shown his creations globally and has collaborated with numerous international brands including +Halle, Rimowa, Audo, Karakter, NIKO JUNE, and Louis Vuitton.

In the year of Nick Ross’s eponymous studio’s tenth anniversary, WORKS provides a glimpse into an impressively expansive body of work from the designer.

TALKS AT THE LANE is an eclectic and informative series of lectures and conversations around the themes of design and making, curated and delivered by Custom Lane studio residents.  TATL aim to provide engaging and lively discussions that explore what motivates our speakers to create, and the influences behind their practice.

Season 2 will focus on material by engaging with designers and makers whose practice is concerned with the use of sustainable materials, their practical application and cultural meaning.
