To accompany their exhibition, Symbiont, Natalya and Fiona of PYRUS invite you to join Herbal Scotland for a gentle afternoon of tea tasting and remedy...

As part of their exhibition, Symbiont, botanical artists Natalya Ayers and Fiona Inglis, of PYRUS, introduce a series of curated events and workshops from fellow creatives.

Natalya and Fiona are delighted to welcome Herbal Scotland, a team of four local herbalists connecting people with plants for health and well being, to share their extensive plant knowledge with attendees.

Plants are the foundation of all life. They nourish our bodies and colour our world.

Explore some of the symbiotic interrelationships between humans and plants in an interactive workshop of tea tasting and remedy making.

Using seasonal foraged botanicals gathered by Herbal Scotland, and flowers from the PYRUS walled garden, you will learn about the art of pill roling, taste freshly made herbal tea and learn how to make botanical balms and rose water.

A gentle, relaxed Saturday afternoon of getting back to nature and making the most of Summer’s bounty.
