Exhibition by Edinburgh based experimental design collective.

‘Nowhere’, challenges current notions of place and identity in the increasingly fractured post-truth era we now inhabit. Expect cerebral print and digital work, including installations and editorial pieces.

This show is the follow-up to Blueroom’s ‘Thematic’ exhibition, which was held in May at Somos-Arts, Berlin. Blueroom were winners of the Designer Award at the Sunday Herald Scottish Culture Awards 2017.

Blueroom Collective are based in Edinburgh and work in graphic design, design education, and their associated creative practices.

“Technology is changing design, but repetitive generic approaches dominate the commercial application of visual communication. Our preferred medium is typography and our work challenges that situation by celebrating the connections between the conceptual and the constructive. Our projects typically last about 12 weeks, and we try to exhibit as soon as possible upon completion.”
